Lambda Epsilon Chi (LEX) – National Honor Society in Paralegal/Legal Assistant Studies
LCCC has a chapter of Lambda Epsilon Chi (LEX), the National Honor Society in Paralegal/Legal Assistant Studies.
Induction occurs in the spring of each year. Induction to the society is based upon academic excellence. Students must meet the following qualifications:
A.A.S. Degree Students
- The student has demonstrated superior academic performance by achieving an overall grade point average of 3.25 or higher and a grade point average of 3.50 within the paralegal courses of the program.
- Completion of at least 49 credits – included in which are at least 12 credits in Paralegal Studies courses.
Certificate Program Students
- The student has demonstrated superior academic performance by achieving an overall grade point average of 3.25 or higher and a grade point average of 3.50 within the paralegal courses of the program.
- Completion of at least 24 credits – included in which are at least 12 credits in Paralegal Studies courses.
Kutztown University/PLG Students
- The student has demonstrated superior academic performance by achieving an overall grade point average of 3.25 or higher and a grade point average of 3.50 within the paralegal courses of the program.
- Completion of at least 90 credits – included in which are at least 12 credits in Paralegal Studies courses.
There is a one-time fee associated with the membership.
